Pallet Safety Gates
We custom-design and manufacture standard pallet safety gates and high pallet safety gates to your own specifications.
With the option of powder coating to aid visibility, all our pallet safety gates are designed to ensure the safety of personnel, at exposed openings at the edge of our mezzanine floors. Our pallet safety gates are maintenance-free and available in different styles. Lightweight up-and-over standard pallet safety gates, counterbalance pallet safety gates or articulated pallet safety gates are all available.
Emergency Fire Escapes
Our emergency fire escapes are designed, manufactured and installed to provide safe access and comply with building controls. A comprehensive range of fire escapes and emergency escape staircases, steps and associated handrails are available for installation in warehouses, roofs and industrial production areas. Options of chequer plate decking or open mesh are available in either a galvanized or powder-coated finish.
Floor Level and Raised Access Walk Ways
Gain safe access to repair or maintain difficult to reach machinery, all manufactured to your own specifications. Floor level walkways and raised access walkways, as well as steps and associated handrails, can be manufactured and installed for use in warehouses, roofs and industrial production areas.
Chequer plate decking or open mesh decking options are available, in either a galvanized or powder-coated finish.
Lift Shaft Design and Installation
Our lift shafts are manufactured so they can be integrated into a mezzanine floor, this effectively negates the need for a forest of legs in this area.
The structure of the lift shaft comprises column and beams clad with a stainless steel outer skin. The skin conceals any fire protection components and can be finished in keeping with either the balustrade system or the bulkhead.
The use of a steel lift shaft can require fire protection depending on the project and USS can supply this to ensure regulation-compliance.
