Our engineers are free from the restrictions imposed by standardisation, and we can embark on relatively complex projects that call for manufacturing specialised parts on a one-off basis in our manufacturing facility in Haverhill, Suffolk.
This 30,000 sq. ft factory and warehouse allow us to produce hot- or cold-rolled steel support columns, support main beams, purlins, handrail, kickplates and base plates in-house.

In the past, we’ve designed and installed a particular three-tier mezzanine floor for a major logistics and distribution facility that wanted to provide dedicated technical workshops for the third-party companies using the space.
This mezzanine had to be lightweight – and make good use of every available square metre of floor space. It also needed to facilitate industrious activity and comply with all relevant health and safety legislation.
To deliver on this, we designed, manufactured and installed a multi-tier floor with a twin goods lift and concertina pallet gates on every level, full-height mesh handrails for safety and two multi-tier staircases – one of which was enclosed in its own fire-rated pod.

We’ve also fabricated a mezzanine floor of pre-assembled components specifically designed to fit through the back-of-house goods lifts at a major shopping centre.
We undertook this particular build for JD Sport – a repeat client who has relied on us for several important projects. In this instance, they wanted to expand the storage space in a busy retail store in Westfield Shopping Centre, Stratford.
Building a mezzanine floor with several new staircases seemed like the obvious solution, but there was a problem: Any component parts would need to be moved through the back of the shopping centre, and the standard steel beams needed to support their new floor would be far too big to fit.

Luckily, we had the designers, engineers and manufacturing facilities needed to produce an alternate design that we could move into position with minimal disruption to the day-to-day operation of the store and shopping centre.
